This customer acquired a semi-truck from an auction in Salt Lake City to expand his Las Vegas-based roofing and solar company's fleet. Having served the Salt Lake City region for two decades, the semi-truck had gathered substantial tar, asphalt, road dirt, and rust from the salt-treated winter roads. Together with the customer, we devised a plan for his team to dismantle the truck, allowing us to thoroughly sandblast the chassis, headache rack, both the underside and topside of the bed, down to white metal, readying it for a full restoration. Several areas were beginning to spall and other areas were becoming discolored. The customer wanted to take the entire surface back to the underlying natural concrete. It was a thick and stubborn surface with which our commercial grade equipment made quick work. In addition, we use only eco-friendly crushed bottle glass as the abrasive - safe for people, pets and plants - so there is zero risk to the beautiful landscaping.
