The art of mobile blasting combines water, air pressure and abrasive to restore virtually any surface. We find that 40/70 crushed glass is our preference for most applications. This angular abrasive is appropriate for concrete, stone, brick and metal as well as more delicate surfaces like fiberglass and wood. Occasionally we blast with round glass bead for a polished finish (on swimming pool tile, for example) or harsher abrasives like crushed garnet to remove thicker coatings (like powder coat).
